Program Overview
The Community Training & Education Program is a private, not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of building support for the educational, training and technical assistance center that will be required to help residents of the South and West Sides meet the career demands of tomorrow and realize the opportunities created by ONE Central and other Illinois Growth Corridor development projects.

The Pipeline Program (Construction Trades)
Provides under-employed, under-served, and under-represented individuals with the required training and support programs to enter the construction trades.

The Pathways Program (Non-Construction Industries)
Establishes “pathways” for economically disadvantaged minorities, women, and youth to gain access to the educational resources needed to build a career, including opportunities to learn through real work experience instead of, or in addition to, traditional classroom learning.

Career Development & Placement Office
Fosters career advancement and professional job placement for minority, women and disadvantaged workers by providing comprehensive services and programming and by promoting strong partnerships with employers at ONE Central and throughout the Chicagoland region.

The Entrepreneurship Institute
Establishes a hub for minorities and women to become entrepreneurs, innovators, founders and change-makers – all made possible by ONE Central’s thriving community, state-of-the-art facilities and unparalleled support from the business and academic community.

ONE Central Tech
Redefines education for the twenty-first century and provides a model of equity and access in education.

WORK$ Campaign
A commitment to develop a financing structure that will help fund a major capital contribution toward ONE Central Tech, and potentially other training and educational components of EquityWORKS.
